Department Overview: |
The Pancreas Cancer Task Force is a unique partnership between community stakeholders and cancer professionals. The Carbone Cancer Center volunteer Task Force consists of patients, community leaders, family members, and caregivers who have been personally affected by pancreas cancer. The Task Force works together in close concert with University of Wisconsin physicians, researchers, clinical staff, and administrators to better the odds for pancreas cancer patients. In addition to building public awareness, providing educational opportunities focused on pancreas cancer and offering patient-centered projects aimed at providing a better quality of life, the Task Force’s primary goal is raising funds for pancreas cancer research at the University of Wisconsin. |

Qualifications: |
H.S. Diploma With 1 year of relevant experience • Current student enrolled in a program related to marketing, communications, journalism, public health, or a related field • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Demonstrates reliability and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail |
