The Programs Operation Intern plays a key role in supporting Maydm’s mission of providing girls and youth of color in grades 6-12 with skills, experiences, and connections to pursue careers in and change the face of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The Programs Operations Intern will provide support for the Educational and Internship programs, and delivery of Maydm educational programs.. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing business, entrepreneurship, and/or nonprofit management to work with a small, fast-paced team and gain hands-on experience with nonprofit operations. We are also especially seeking people of color, and bilingual (i.e. English/Spanish, English/Hmong) candidates for this position. Work Study Required Willing to work in a small, fast-paced nonprofit environment Available to work in-office between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, option to support some early evening hours Must have a personal vehicle to get to multiple locations on a given day Studying business, nonprofit management, entrepreneurship, information technology management, business information systems, marketing, or similar fields is preferred Must be legally eligible to work in the United States |
