Once Upon A Child buys and sells gently used kids clothes, shoes, toys and baby gear. People bring in their gently used kids items and get cash on the spot, or shop around for their favorite brands at affordable prices.

We buy items for all seasons, all day, every day, with no appointment necessary. Each location is individually owned and operated, so it is easy to support local while shopping sustainably and affordably.

Flexible, between our normal hours

9:30 A.M. - 8:30 P.M. Monday - Saturday

10:30 A.M. - 6:30 P.M. Sundays

Responsibilities and Duties:

We are looking to hire energetic and customer service oriented candidates for our team. As a team member you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting store products and services. You will perform basic duties such as buying and selling children's clothing, toys, shoes, cribs, strollers and accessories. Duties also include inventory, sorting, tagging, stocking, organizing, and maintaining the sales floor.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels
- Assist in visual merchandising and product displays

Team Member Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Retail Sales and Customer Service experience is preferred

Must be a team player

Ability to merchandise and stock sales products, and be able to lift up to 30 pounds

Actively to operate a computerized sales terminal

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Performs efficiently and safely in a face based environment

All candidates must have the ability to apply their knowledge of children's products to help the store buy gently used merchandise and promote these items on the sales floor.
