Drews Solar is a small, professional, Madison-based solar installation business. We aim to provide the best service, product, and installation work in the greater Madison area.

Applicants must be available to begin work in May 2026 and stay on through the end of August, with options to work part-time during the spring and fall semesters as their class schedule allows. Our spring schedule is weather-dependent but typically starts the first week of March. We are located just off of Park St about 1.6 miles south of campus. Most students use a bike, moped, or scooter to get to and from work. You do not need a car for this job.
The preferred applicant will be a hard worker by nature, have a solid attitude, have farm, construction, or other tough-job type of work experience, and enjoy working on a team who is working hard to accomplish goals together.
If an employee is working 5 days per week, paid holidays include Memorial Day and July 4th.
Requirements:
1) being physically fit, able to lift heavy objects and walk on rooftops
2) available 4-5 full days per week during the summer months
3) positive attitude and strong work ethic
4) a solid ability to learn and remember new things quickly
5) being mechanically inclined and handy/skilled with tools
Compensation is $28 per hour.
