Department Overview:
Babcock Dairy Store is the retail outlet for Babcock Dairy located on campus in Babcock Hall. We are part of the Food Science Department within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

Schedule:
Full-time hours available during the summer - we are open 7 days a week. We work around your class schedule. Mon-Fri work hours are 7am-8pm Sat & Sun 9am - 5pm Some weekend work will be required, Prefer this position to start with 1-2 short shifts for the remainder of spring semester (preferred, not required)

Qualifications:
Must be an enrolled UW student in the summer or fall semester and bring a positive attitude
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Food Service or customer service experience preferred but not required Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work in cold temperatures occasionally, some freezer work is required
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Make sandwiches, make and serve ice cream treats, run credit/wiscard transactions through a register, serve customers, stock coolers and freezers, provide tours for school groups, cleaning, other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
Stand for long periods of time, lift up to 40 lbs occasionally, push heavy carts.
