Department Overview:
The Office of Inclusion Education (OIE), a part of Student Affairs, is located in the Red Gym at 716 Langdon street in suite 217.

Schedule:
5-10 hours of work in-person at the Office of Inclusion Education with flexibility on your exact schedule. Hours will be completed during open office hours (M-F between 9am and 5pm).

Minimum: $10.00 Maximum: $15.00

Qualifications:
- Ability to work 5-10 hours weekly in person - Have ability to do evening programming - Ability to make a commitment for the remainder of the academic year - Be a UW-Madison student during employment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- A self-starter - Able to work independently & collaboratively - Experience in peer leadership and facilitation (via coursework, scholarship, campus or community engagement, etc.) - Interest or experience in program assessment and evaluation - Experience with presentation software (e.g. Canva, Google Slides, Power Point, etc.)
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Develop, market, facilitate and assess in-person, dialogue-focused programming opportunities for students intended at building student belonging, leadership, and growth for all students, with a particular focus on first-year students. - Attend weekly 1:1s with direct supervisor, weekly Dialogue team meetings, two all team intern gatherings per semester, and any ongoing training (dates will be shared well in advance). - Hold regular in-person office hours (minimum of 5 hours per week) in The Office of Inclusion Education (Red Gym suite 217). - Building and strengthening relationships with diverse student populations (registered student organizations, varying departments and disciplines, schools/colleges, and offices). - Create outreach materials (flyers, graphics, etc.) to promote the awareness of programs, events and services. - Collaboration across the department and providing support to the other functional areas as needed.
Physical Demands:
Movement across campus with programmatic supplies (with access to a wagon) as needed.
