Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a Mother’s helper to assist us with child care and light housework on weekday afternoons. We are a family of four with a 3-year old and a 1-month old. Our home is centrally located in the Dudgeon Monroe neighborhood right off Monroe St, with easy access to the Route D bus line and the bike path.  

The ideal candidate would be someone caring, reliable, who loves kids and  can lend either parent a helping hand with the kids and around the house. Main responsibilities would include: 

- Babysitting: watching and interacting with our 3 year old and/or watching our infant. You would only be required to watch one child at any given time. 

- Light housework: for example, loading / unloading dishwasher, tidying up, folding laundry, putting away groceries 

Qualifications:

- UW student, ideally pursuing studies in an education, childhood development, or healthcare related field 

- Previous experience providing child care (nannying, babysitting, teaching) and comfortable with toddlers/infants 

- CPR/First Aid training a plus

- Drivers license a plus
