Camp Woodbrooke is a nonprofit overnight camp dedicated to fostering simplicity, harmony, and peace. Since the 1960s, we’ve provided a unique, inclusive environment for campers to connect with nature and each other. This summer, we’re excited to debut a brand-new kitchen facility and welcome a Kitchen Coordinator to lead culinary efforts that nourish our vibrant community.

Schedule:
It is an on-site overnight camp. Teen Trip Camps are a two-week duration plus a day of prepping and a day of debriefing.

About Camp Woodbrooke
Camp Woodbrooke is a non-profit, nature-based summer camp rooted in Quaker traditions, emphasizing community, diversity, and personal growth. We provide a supportive and engaging environment where campers build confidence, develop outdoor skills, and form lasting connections.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Teen Trip Leader to supervise and mentor campers (ages 13-15) through outdoor adventures, including a 100-mile biking trip along Wisconsin’s scenic Rails to Trails routes. The role involves leading group activities, ensuring safety, fostering teamwork, and helping teens develop confidence and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a group of up to 10 campers on biking and camping trips.
Maintain a primitive campsite as the group’s home base.
Facilitate outdoor activities, including biking, canoeing, and team-building exercises.
Ensure camper safety and well-being throughout the trip.
Collaborate with co-leaders to implement the Teen Program curriculum.
Organize and lead a service project with the teen group.
Compensation & Benefits
$1,060 for 17 days / $2,120 for 34 days, with potential for additional work.
Housing and meals included.
Opportunity to gain leadership experience in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Program dates: June 22 - July 7 & July 11 – 27 (with possible additional work before/between trips).
Qualifications:
Experience in outdoor leadership, recreation, or adventure programming.
Strong communication and group management skills.
First Aid & CPR certification required (Lifeguarding required, Wilderness First Aid preferred).
Minimum age: 21.
Experience with biking, canoeing, and primitive camping.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Passion for working with teens in an outdoor setting.
Physical Demands
Must be able to bike, lift, bend, and back-pack over long distances. Physically demanding
