Department Overview:
International Academic Programs (IAP) is a unit in The International Division and serves as the largest study abroad office at UW-Madison. IAP administers more than 300 campus-wide study abroad & domestic study away programs and internships and annually sends over 3,000 UW-Madison students abroad. In this role, you will work closely with the IAP Assistant Director for Enrollment Management who oversees the data collection and reporting for the office. Much of the work will be done independently.

Schedule:
15-20 hours per week. Hours are flexible but should be during office hours (8AM-4:30PM, M-F).

Qualifications:
Must be enrolled as a graduate student at UW-Madison through the Spring 2026 semester.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Have demonstrated knowledge and experience using MS EXCEL & WORD • Be detail oriented and demonstrate organizational skills • Have demonstrated knowledge and experience with web-based databases and querying data from them or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work equally well as a team member or independently on assigned projects • Have familiarity with the UW-Madison student information system (SIS) – preferred
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Responsibilities for the position will include the following: • Query and organize relevant student biographical and academic information from various data sources including - University of Wisconsin-Madison Student Information System (SIS) - International Academic Program database • Assist with compiling and cleaning data for various office, campus, and national reports, including the annual IIE Open Doors Report, summarizing study abroad participation • Assist with other data projects as assigned
